artSparks Seattle

artSparks, a new and experimental addition to Center City Parks Events, is bringing the creative energy of Seattle's vibrant arts community into downtown daily life. From June through October, three center city parks will each serve as an "art space" for a specific curator or curatorial team.

Rob D'Arc at Victor Steinbrueck Park by the Pike Place Market, Ingrid Lahti and Carrie Boddle at Westlake Park, and Susie Lee and Elizabeth Umbanhowar at Occidental Park in the Pioneer Square neighborhood, will explore their artistic interests with performance, sound, painting, words, giant puppets…arts of all kinds. Catch a glimpse, stay and watch, join in, or track all three parks to see what happens.
